Patrick M Dever, age 65, passed away on Tuesday May 3rd after a 5 year struggle with Cancer. Patrick was born in Denver to Kevin and Virginia (Quinn) Dever as the eldest child of two, growing up with his sister, Mary Kay Rolsch. From his birth on August 7th, 1951 to his passing, Pat showed compassion for everyone and everything that entered his life. This compassion led Pat to work with and help the mentally disabled after graduating college at CU Boulder. Pat made friends easily with everyone, but Carolyn stole his heart on an afternoon in 1980. Patrick married Carolyn in 1983 and went on to raise four children together; Zachariah, Erin, Kevin and Meghan. Patrick is survived by his wife, four children, sister, three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and cousins. Patrick will be remembered as an encouraging man, a man who would give you the shirt off of his back, a man who will live on in each life he has touched. Memorial services will be arranged at a later date to give the family time to grieve.
