Patricia Gloria Gallegos

Patricia G. Gallegos was born October 17, 1953 in Del Norte, Colorado. She was called home on December 27, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her only son Humberto Cruz Jr. (Karla Cruz); 3 grandsons, PFC Michael Cruz, Adolph Cruz and Patrick Cruz. Her siblings Angie Garcia, Michael Gallegos (Kathy Gallegos), Rama Bustamante (Phil Bustamante), Connie Garcia, Albert Gallegos (Dawn Gallegos) and Gilbert Gallegos (Liz McGinty). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her father Felix Gallegos, mother Mabel Garcia, step father Roger Garcia, siblings Rudolph Gallegos, Roger Gallegos, nephews Rudy Dinkel, Ernest Gallegos, Jose (Hoe) Garcia and Guadalupe (Lupito) Garcia . Pat graduated from West High School. She started working at 17 for ARPC (Air Reserve Personnel Center), which she left for a short time and worked for a small business administration as a receptionist. She went back to ARPC, which turned into a career of almost 33 years. Pat retired on May 01, 2012, as a Military Personnel Clerk in the Total Force Service Center. Pat was an independent person. She cared for others. She had a caring heart, especially taking care of her mother and son. She made lots of friends along the way throughout her life. She loved Mickey Mouse, which she collected over the years. She enjoyed making blankets, rosaries and different arts and crafts. She especially loved walks with her beloved dog, Angel. We will miss her tremendously, especially when she would always make us laugh!
