Patricia Anne Higashi

Patricia Anne Flaherty Higashi (70) of Thornton Colorado, passed away at home after a brief struggle with cancer. She was born on April 1, 1946 in San Diego, CA, the 4th of 15 children to John and Mary (Hammond) Flaherty. Married on September 16, 1972 to Kenneth K. Higashi. She was a dedicated wife of 44 years, a loving mother and fiercely proud grandmother. She will be remembered by family and friends for her ability to embrace life with laughter, love and compassion. She is survived by her husband Kenneth, her children Sara (Tucker) Wald, Cece Majkowski and Brian (Kraig) Higashi. Granddaughters Kelsey (15), Emma (7) and Morgan (1). Many brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Roger. Services will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Centennial, Colorado Friday October 7, 2016 at 11:30. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Ken Higashi (11303 Plover Circle, Parker CO 80134) and will be forwarded to the Colorado Lung Cancer Society in Patricia ‘s memory.
