March 28, 1923 - August 1, 2012 Major, U.S. Air Force, Omer Charles Thompson of Aurora, CO passed away August 1, 2012 he was 89 years old. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lord Thompson; his son Jeff Thompson, and brother-in-law, John E. Lord. He is survived by his sons, Bradley John Thompson, Richard Harold Thompson, and Randall Craig Thompson; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends also survive him. Graveside services with military honors will be rendered at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at 2:00pm Rev. Scott Jenkins will officiate. Following the committal service the family will have a Celebration of Life at Church of the Holy Family, 16738 E.
