Norman "Norm" Edward Goodbrod

September 3, 1960 — September 26, 2016

Norman “Norm” Edward Goodbrod, 56, of Broomfield, CO, beloved brother, friend, life’s love, bonus father figure, and owner of The Big Garage, passed away suddenly on September 26, 2016. Norm’s zest for life was exceeded only by the incredible love he shared with all of those around him. His passions for motorcycles, fishing, Nebraska Cornhusker football, NASCAR, Labradors, and the Rocky Mountains he called home were always evident in his infectious laugh, his radiant smile, and the huge heart he wore on his sleeve. No matter where he was or what he was doing, he was the favorite person in the room and words cannot describe how much he will be missed. Norm’s passing was preceded by his parents Virginia and Walter and a brother David. Norm’s departure from this life is mourned by his remaining three brothers, James, Steven, and Warren, by his partner in life’s adventures Vicki Green, and by numerous relatives and countless friends and loved ones. A pot luck celebration of life will be held at the Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver on Saturday, October 15. Doors open at 5 pm with a service beginning at 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, Norm’s family and loved ones request that donations be made to the Rocky Mountain Labrador Rescue Organization through the ColoradoGives.org website or by using the link below: https://www.coloradogives.org/RockyMountainLabRescue
