May 27,1937 – August 11, 2017 Thornton, Colorado – Norma Ruth Brown, 80, passed away August 11, 2017. Her memorial service will be held August 26th, 1:00pm at Table Mountain Baptist Church, located at 16735 W. 63rd Pl. Golden, Colorado 80403. Norma was born May 27th, 1937 in Pueblo, Colorado and grew up in Compton, California until she left for college in Colorado. For most of her life she was a mother, housewife and teachers aid. Later in her life she was a preschool teacher in several area churches. Norma was joined in marriage to Robert Lee Brown August 30th, 1957. Norma is survived by her children Steve, Sharon, Dorthy, Berniece, Shelle, Brenda, and Chuck; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters Virginia and Lydia, and brother Herb. Her husband Robert Lee Brown, her parents William and Berniece Schroyer and her brother Bill preceded her in death.
