March 8, 1927 - March 1, 2012 Norma Jean Wyer Hawkins was born on her grandparent's farm in Seward County, Kansas on March 8, 1927 to Ethel and Jack Hawkins. She was known by all who loved her as Jean or Jeanie. She married her long time childhood friend Joseph Alton Titus on June 28, 1943 in Liberal, Kansas where they lived until 1956 when they moved to Arvada, Colorado. She was a checker at Jolly Giant and Safeway in Arvada. She retired from Applejack in 1980. Her two brothers Ronald Lee and Cecil Ray Hawkins preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph, three children Patricia Diana Titus McHatton, Theresa Gail Titus Murphey and Joseph Alton Titus Jr. She is also survived by six grandchildren Kelli Koros Peters, Daniel McHatton, Christina McHatton, Bevan McHatton, Kerri Koros LaBate, William McHatton. Thirteen great grandchildren Paul Schoeninger, Michael Koros II, Katie Peters, Amanda Peters, Dailyn Hall, Jeffrey LaBate, Joshua McHatton, Jonathan McHatton, Blake McHatton, Kody Easley, Brittney McHatton, Payton Easley, Kimberly McHatton. Three great great grandkids Kennedy, Devin, Mason. Her favorite color was red, favorite flower was roses, she always had a “stash” of candies. Everyone will miss her “Love Pats” that she gave everyone. She has always been a big Bronco fan. Her wish was to have the last dance with her husband as they leave the chapel.
