Michael Leonard

In Loving Memory of Michael Leonard, born in San Diego CA on February 27,1970. Only child of John and Suzanne Leonard, both of whom have passed away. Michael is survived by a half brother and sister in southern Ca.; an unknown daughter and grandchild in Florida; an aunt in San Diego Ca. (Donna Page) along with distant cousins in Colorado and Iowa. Michael and his mother, Suzanne, moved to Colorado when he was very young and he would find the place he called home in Golden. Michael loved talking and being around people. He was an artistic and caring soul, who enjoyed cooking and reading. Michael worked as a cook over the years at several restaurants and at King’s Supers Market. He spent his best years with friend and fiancé, Stacey Etzenhouser of Denver, Colorado with whom he shared the happiest moments of his life. Of course, we can’t forget his dog Bruno. Michael passed away November 23, 2021 at St. Anthony hospital in Lakewood after a long illness. The doctors and nurses there took exceedingly good care of him. His cremated remains will be laid to rest with his mother in Iowa.
