Michael Burke Raney

Michael Burke Raney died peacefully on October 3, 2016 at home in Denver, Colorado at the age of 69. He served proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he subsequently attended Saint Petersburg College where he received an associate degree and thereafter was employed for over 36 years by PALL Corporation as an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer in Pinellas Park & Fort Myers, Florida. He is survived by sons Kevin (Maureen) Raney of Denver, Colorado, Joe (Jessica) Raney of Cape Coral, Florida, daughter Stacey (Jeff) Simonson, of Cape Coral, Florida, his three grandchildren Alura & Elijah Raney and Lyla Simonson, brothers Linn (Jodie) Raney of Cleveland, Ohio and Jeff (Denise) Raney of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, nephew, nieces, cousins and many friends. A funeral service will be held in Denver at Fort Logan National Cemetery November 4, 2016 at 2:15pm in staging area “B”. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to TheDenverHospice.org in his name.
