September 1, 1940 - October 4, 2013 Megan Alice Paulson of Cocoa Beach, Florida and Golden, Colorado passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 73 years old and is survived by her son Rodney, daughter Carrie, grandson Raleigh, sister Katie and brothers Terry and Kevin. She loved the Florida sun and hated the Colorado winters. She passed from this world just twenty minutes before the first snow of the season, which was as she wanted it. Her wish was for her ashes to join with her late husband Tom Dickson in a final resting place in Florida. Megan spent her life caring for those she loved most, her animals. Her heart went out to feral cats in Florida and she was able to care for and find homes for many feline friends. A private celebration of her life will be held on October 19, 2013.
