August 27, 1954 - October 6, 2011 Matthew E. Kerns was born August 27, 1954 and passed October 6, 2011. He is preceded in death by parents John and Mary Kerns and sister Susan Blake. Matt is survived by his five children Rachel Kerns (30), Stephanie Kerns (25), Kimberly Kerns (Christopher Jones) (23), Christopher Kerns and Patrick Kerns (14) and his first grandchild due in February 2012. He is also survived by the mother of his children Lisa Fox (50), brother Pat Kerns (63) and Cathy Bishop (54), nieces Sarah Fox (26) and Kelsey Bishop (17), and his two adoptive cats, Shakalooko McDiggins and Chompers (7). Matt devoted a lot of his time to Denney transport, where he worked for the last 11 years. Matt enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Services to be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at Adams County Fair Grounds, 9755 Henderson Rd. , Al Lesser Bldg, Brighton, CO 80601 at 11 A.M.
