It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Shaner on April 13 at the age of 91. Mary Ann grew up in Denver, the oldest girl and one of twelve kids she is survived by her sisters Lucille,Darlene,Virginia and Sharon (David). Mary Ann married Jack in 1955 and started her journey to become the best mother and grandma you could ever ask for. She loved doing anything that involved family and Jack and her loved being constantly busy with the kids activities bust most of all dancing to polka music. Mary Ann loved having a busy home full of noise and food. Between raising her four kids and babysitting over twenty different kids over the years no one really knew when she found time to sleep. Mary Ann is survived by her four children Greg (Carolyn),Melody,Jeff (Pam) and Brian grandchildren Tracy (Jayson),Shanell,Ryan (Stephani),Cody,Dustin(Jasmine)and Kyle (Angelina) and twelve great grandchildren and her cousin and best phone partner Delores Jeski. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Jack and daughter in law Elissa. Mary Ann will be remembered for her ever willingness to love and protect her children, her quick wit and of course, her sarcasm. A great hole has been left in many hearts with her passing but thinking of her will always bring a smile. Rest In Peace and God bless.
