Mark William Hoskins

Mark William Hoskins Mark William Hoskins, 56 years old, of Golden, CO passed away on October 3rd, 2021 due to complications from COVID. He was born to Steve and Pat (Miller) Hoskins on October 15th, 1964 in Denver, Colorado. As a Colorado Native, he graduated from Bear Creek High School in Lakewood and would later become the first in his family to graduate from college. Mark had a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State College of Denver and a Masters in Corporate Finance from Colorado State University after which he also obtained his CPA license. Mark married Virginia Lynn Jeffries on June 10, 1989. He worked as a Budget Officer for various government agencies including – Food and Nutrition Service, National Park Service, NIST, and Tri County Health Department for over 20 years. In his early retirement he enjoyed writing and became a self-published author of multiple books with more in development. Mark was also an avid Texas Hold’em Poker player. He is survived by: his wife, Virginia (Ginny) Hoskins, their two children, Natasha and Trever Hoskins, his parents, Pat and Steve Hoskins, two brothers, Flint and Matt Hoskins, and a sister, Lisa Hoskins. Mark’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at Arvada Covenant Church, 5555 Ward Rd. Arvada, CO 80002 on November 6th, 2021 at 11am.
