Mark Schleis

Mark Steven Schleis, 57, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 in Keenesburg, CO. He was born February 25, 1960 to Joseph and Dorthea Schleis in Westminster, CO. Mark loved life to the fullest and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, motorcycling and classic cars. He loved spending time with friends and family. Those that knew Mark, knew he was a bit of a prankster at heart and loved making people laugh. He was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. Survivors include brother, Jim Schleis and wife, Pat, Brighton, CO; sister, Vicki Berg and husband Darrell, Broomfield, CO; son, Jason Schleis and wife, Stacie, Mustang, OK; daughter, Michelle Schleis, Thornton, CO; son, Austin Lee, Thornton, CO; stepson, Cody McDaniel and wife, Logan, Keenesburg, CO; seven grandchildren; three nieces; and two nephews; and his employer Mark St. Peter (of St. Peter Excavating) a good friend and boss for whom he worked for the past 2 1/2 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his nephew, Kevin Berg. We love you and you will be deeply missed.
