August 31, 1932 – November 20, 2015 Resident of Denver, Colorado Our beloved mother took her place in eternity on November 20, 2015.  Her passing was swift and peaceful and she was surrounded by much love, both from family and close friends. Marjorie (aka Marge, Margie, Madge, Her Marjesty, Mom, Momma and Grandma Marge) was welcomed into the world by her doting parents, Hollis and Claude Jump on August 31, 1932 in Warrensburg, Missouri.  She was raised in Winslow, Arizona and graduated from Winslow High School.  Claude, her father died when she was only 14 years old, leaving Marjorie and Hollis all too soon.  Following her graduation from high school, Marjorie and her mother both attended dental school in San Francisco, and then came to settle down in Denver, Colorado.  It is there that she met the love of her life, Conrad, and they married on November 15, 1952.  Then, in 1964, Marjorie again suffered the untimely loss of a parent when Hollis passed on after a long bout with cancer. Having been an only child, Marjorie longed for a big family and always wanted lots of children.  Soon after marrying, she and Conrad set about making that happen and were the best parents that any child could ever wish for.  Marjorie was a loving wife to Conrad for 58 years and she devoted her whole life to her five children.  She is preceded in death by her parents as well as one child, Bradley Lyndon Mowrey.  Marjorie will be forever remembered by her beloved children Byron Mowrey (Cheryle), Lynda Towndrow (Dennis), Kristin Rangel (Don), Robyn Mowrey and Bart Mowrey, her treasured grandchildren Lillian Chavez, Luisa Garcia, Donny, Bradley and Matthew Rangel, and precious great granddaughters Lilly Chavez and Ava Garcia, Marisa, Fiona and Farah Fitt, along with a myriad of extended family and friends – all who loved her dearly. Marjorie was an accomplished artist and specialized in china painting.  She loved music and fostered that love in all of her children.  She was a very good seamstress and for many years made clothes for her brood, oftentimes matching, (to their chagrin).  And, there wasn’t a John Grisham novel that Marjorie didn’t tackle – for she was a voracious reader.  But, most of all, Marjorie loved God and fiercely loved her family –she continually showed that love in countless ways.  Her children count it a privilege to have honored their Father’s wish and cared for her at home until her passing. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Marjorie’s life at 1pm on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Rockland Community Church in Golden, CO. Marjorie will rest alongside the love of her life, Conrad, at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The family requests any donations be made to the Seniors’ Resource Center.  Donations can be made online in Marjorie’s name at http://srcaging.org/donate/
