April 20, 1935 - October 6, 2012 Marjorie “Marge” Elaine Wilson, 77, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2012. Born in Boulder, Colorado on April 20, 1935 to Ott and Marine Johnson, Marge had a twin brother, Milton - and an older brother - Maurice. Marge earned a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and taught in elementary schools in Illinois and Colorado. She married her childhood sweetheart, Charles “Chuck” Wilson, on August 5, 1956. Together, they lived most of their lives in Colorado and built a family with three children, Michael, Lori and Kathleen. Marge cherished her grandchildren Tyler and Kaley frequently joining them on the slide and swings when at the playground. Marge had a knack for making people feel special through kind words, heartfelt birthday cards and warm hugs. She was an avid bargain hunter, often braving sales that deterred all but the most determined shoppers. Camping, hiking, wildflower spotting, shopping, volunteering, gardening and spending time with her family, friends and pets were some of the many activities that completed Marge's life. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, Ott and Marine, her brother, Maurice and her son, Michael. She is survived by her husband, Charles Wilson, her daughters, Lori Wilson and Kathleen Pinover, her son-in-law, Lee Pinover, her brother, Milton, and her grandchildren Tyler and Kaley Pinover as well as many other family members and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 10:00am at the Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church (4425 Kipling Street Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). En lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marjorie's name to Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church.
