Marilyn Edith Arguello of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on March 31, 2021. She was born March 19, 1947, in Anderson, South Carolina to Rev. Albert J. and Gladys Miller. She was raised in Anderson, South Carolina. She eventually moved to Colorado and later married Anthony Arguello in 1989. Marilyn worked at Lockheed Martin as an auditor for over thirty years. Over her time at Lockheed, she furthered her education and was an active member of the National Property Management Association. Throughout her retirement, Marilyn was an avid gardener and continued to enjoy the outdoors. She found peace and tranquility in gardening and working in her yard, creating beautiful landscapes and areas of retreat at her home. In her early years, she would spend time playing golf and garnering memorable trophies. She had a passion for playing the piano, a skill she learned as a young child in her father’s church. She found serenity in music and shared her talents with others. Marilyn relished her time researching and writing on a broad scope of topics. She loved challenging herself to a good crossword puzzle, keeping her mind sharp as she would say. She enjoyed the arts and created several art pieces aligned with nature. She also loved to collect her treasured “baby dolls” as she called them. She took great pride in honing her culinary skills and bringing her famous dishes and desserts to family gatherings. She extended her kindness to those in need, always offering prayers and guidance. Marilyn was a devoted caregiver to her husband. They had a profound love for one another and treasured their time together. They also found great solace and comfort in each other. She was truly loved by her husband, family and friends, and will be deeply missed. We are grateful for having Marilyn in our life and find comfort in knowing that she has found peace. She will forever be remembered for her faith and love for family. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gladys Miller. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Arguello; son, Larry (Cindy) Cantrell; stepdaughters, Toni (Chris) Fresquez and Le Arguello; sister Brenda (Danny) Webb; devoted family friends, Ruby Kunkel, Elaine (Ron) Mulhern; Carol and Mac McGee; and numerous family and friends. Marilyn requested that no formal service be held.
