March 4, 1921 - November 29, 2012 Marie M. Korba died at home November 29th in Boulder Colorado surrounded by her children. Marie was born March 4, 1921 in Krebs Oklahoma to Angelo DeJacimo and Bertha Deruy DeJacimo. As a child, the family moved to the Akron area. Marie married Mike Korba in 1944. After WWII they moved to Lazy Lake, Kendall Rd. in Peninsula where they raised their family and enjoyed many picnics with family and friends. Marie retired after 25 years at Summit Soil and Water District. She was an avid hiker, archer, square dancer, flower gardener and enjoyed wildlife. She was recognized by the Cuyahoga Falls library for 30 years of volunteer efforts at the bi-annual book sale. Marie was predeceased by her husband Mike, brothers Peter and John DeJacimo, sister Nan Fisher and son in law Walter Horton. She is survived by her son Peter (Dale) of Boulder, daughter Peggy Horton of Edwards Colorado, grandchildren Kris and Janina Korba, Jesse and Ben Horton and many nieces and nephews.
