Marie Delene Alderson

Marie Alderson passed peacefully at home on Saturday October 28, 2023. She was born April 24, 1932 in Estancia, New Mexico.

Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1pm followed by a memorial service from 1pm – 2pm at Bear Valley Church:

Internment will be at Arvada Cemetery:

5581 Independent Street

Arvada, CO 80002.

Reception will follow at 3:30pm at Fox Hollow Golf Course:

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, William Horace and Mary Edna Hilliard, her son Russ Alderson and her husband Dwain Alderson. Marie and Dwain married March 30,1952. Marie was a Mary Kay consultant. She was active in her church, leading bible studies for many years. She also enjoyed playing bridge, golf, cooking and sewing. Her home was filled with beauty, love, and laughter. Marie is now in her heavenly home, with her savior Jesus Christ, and is surely beyond joyous at being reunited with her husband, son, and all those who have gone before her. Marie is survived by her daughters, Karen Martin, Mandy (Dan) King, and Andrea (Jim) Romano, daughter-in-law Patti Alderson, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 nephews, and 1 niece.
