December 29, 1929 - July 6, 2011 81, of Indianapolis, Indiana joined God in heaven on Wednesday, July 6th. Marianne was born Dec. 29th, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Raymond and Pauline Cole. She spent most of her youth living in Indianapolis. There she attended Arsenal Tech High School. For several years she worked as a supervisor of a printing and mailing company. She was married to Peter P. John in 1963 and moved to Greenwood, Indiana where she lived until she was 80. She spent her last year living near her family in Westminster, Colorado. Marianne was a devoted wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a grandma (YaYa), a great-grandmother, a great-great grandmother, and a friend. Survivors include a sister: Norma Keutzer (Bob), daughter: Treasa Mason-Welz (Mike), niece: Jana Hamilton, nephews: Larry and Gorden Mills, Phillip and Mark Keutzer, 7 grandchildren: Dawn Roberts, Austin Chapin III, Daniel Vencill (Kristina), Benjamin Vencill, Raymond Scott Chapin (Sarah), Timothy Vogt (Sara) and Angel Shortridge (Larry), 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandson. Marianne was preceded in death by her husband: Peter Paul John, son: Austin Chapin Jr., brother: Raymond (Bud) Cole, and sister: Dorothy Mills.
