Maria De Jesus Avalos

Maria De Jesus Avalos prematurely passed away on August 22, 2016, at Denver Health Medical Center due to complications with renal failure at the young age of 43. Maria is survived by her beautiful children, Jose, Carlos, Moises, Issac, and her only daughter Erika. She is also proceeded by six loving grandchildren, Aiden, Carli, Mariah, Issabel, Vanessa and Damonie. Maria was born on August 29, 1972 in Los Angeles, California, to Maria Elena and Salomon Avalos. She graduated from high school in California, but proceeded to raise her family in Colorado in 1997. Upon reaching Colorado, she worked at a few different jobs until she began working at Walgreens where she worked for the company for approximately 10 years. She enjoyed everything she did, but truly loved spending time with her family, especially time with her children and grandchildren. After she left her career with Walgreens, she spent the majority of her time inviting the grand kids over to her house. No matter what day or time, no matter how long they stayed, it was truly the joy of her life. The people she truly knew and loved always had a special place in her heart, and there is nothing at all that would keep her from helping them in any way or any form. She had compassion and dignity for anyone she came into contact with, no matter what color or creed, and had the selflessness to never ask for anything in return from anyone. Not to mention, the strength Maria had to take on any challenge and give everything she had for anyone she knew and loved. She will be deeply and greatly missed by the relatively few souls on this vast Earth that she knew. Yet her impact on the ones she did know will undoubtedly be passed forward, because of the greatness in her heart. Que Maria De Jesus Avalos descanse en paz y que dios la tenga en los cielos.
