December 25, 1949 - May 10, 2013 Malcolm "Mal" Christopher Montoya, Sr, of Denver, Colorado passed away May 10, 2013. He was 63 years old. Mal was born December 25, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to Samuel and Tillie Montoya. Mal is preceded by his parents; Samuel and Tillie, brothers; Sam, Ben and Gene Montoya. Survived by his loving wife of 26 years; Joyce (Zupon) Montoya, children; Christopher, Roxanna, Robert, Jonathan and Joshua, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister; Loyda (Amos) Barcelona, sister-in-law; Lill Montoya, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mal enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and his beloved 1974 Volkswagon Super Beetle. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Rosary/Visitation to be held Tuesday May 14th, 6:30pm at St. Marks Catholic Church (3141 W. 96th Ave. Westminster, CO 80031). Funeral Service to be held Wednesday May 15, 2013, 10:30am, also at St. Marks Catholic Church.
