Lynn House

Lynn was born December 7th, 1952 in Cranston, Rhode Island to Emile and Lucia (Delphin) Chagnon. She is survived by her son, daughter in law, her grand girl, and her three sisters Ann, Collette, and Laurie. She passed away after a brief illness. Lynn was kind, energetic, sassy, stubborn, and compassionate. She had an aptitude for caring for those around her, particularly those with four legs, when they were unable to care for themselves. While she was reserved with her own affairs, she remains an unmatched force of support and strength for others. She had one son, Tom, whom she raised to have a love of film. That love grew into a career, and a lifelong debate between the two over actors, plots, and directors. While they had many different views, they fostered a friendship based on love and the ability to disagree. Lynn’s unceasing support and encouragement were both a source a comfort and strength. She was a natural grandmother to her "grand girl" Anatoly. The love and dedication she showered Ana with from the time of her birth are unparalleled by any of her other relationships. The two became bosom buddies. They enjoyed many shenanigans while picnicking, traveling, and trying new things together. They were an inseparable duo of love and laughter. Lynn spent her early years on the East coast and has always felt peace near the water. She found great joy over the years through numerous visits to the Northwest spending time with her twin sister, Laurie, and the ocean. We are grateful to you for joining us to say goodbye. Goodbye to our mother, our grandmother, our sister, and our friend. We are grateful that she is the thread that binds us together.
