Lt Col (Ret.) Gary A. Hayes, Usaf

Gary Allen Hayes was born on May 9, 1948, in Wichita Falls, Texas and went home to meet his Savior on September 15, 2018, at the age of 70. Gary was preceded in death by his wife Lucy of 37 years, and his parents Bob and Betty Hayes. He will lovingly be remembered by his daughters, Kristie and Rachel, and sons in law, Brent and Daniel. Gary will also be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren, Taylor, Hailey, Zechariah, Micah and Elijah, and his brother, Miles Hayes and sister, Paula Hayes and by his numerous extended family and friends. Gary enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, eating out, and spending time at his vacation home in Grand Lake. He also loved spending time with friends, family and especially his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11:00 at Centerpoint Community Church, 6265 Garrison Street, Arvada, CO 80004. A light lunch will be provided. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to Faith Christian Academy in Gary's name.
