Lloyd Allen Noffsinger of Broomfield, Colorado passed away peacefully on November 18, 2020 in Thornton, Colorado at the age of 61. Lloyd was born on March 9, 1959. He grew up in the Denver area and graduated from Arvada High School in 1977. He received his degree and certification in automotive and mechanical repair from Denver Automotive and Diesel College. In 1979, he began his career at StorageTek as a Material Program Manager. He worked in many departments throughout his career and while at StorageTek he met and married Kathy Vasquez in 1982. Together they had and raised three children. Later they divorced, but still maintained a supportive relationship. In 2011, Lloyd was employed at Ball Aerospace in Boulder where he was well respected and had many friendships. His coworkers and supervisor at Ball were especially supportive as he dealt with many health problems related to being a cancer survivor. Lloyd loved the outdoors in Colorado including pheasant, duck and goose hunting, along with trapshooting and dirt biking with family and friends on camping trips. Lloyd was an avid fisherman, and was a proud member of the Louisville Rod and Gun Club. He spent much of his free time fishing at Marshall Lake in Superior. Some of the best memories with Lloyd were barbecuing around the campfire with many friends and family. He loved his Friday afternoons with his friends, listening to rock and roll music while enjoying his cigars in the garage. He was a big fan of the Colorado Rockies, Denver Broncos and the Denver Nuggets. He is survived by his three children; daughter Nicholle (Lorenzo) Moreno, daughter Michelle (Colt) Smith and his son Nicholas A. Noffsinger. Grandchildren; Reagan Smith & Neve Moreno. Parents; Dale & Wendy Noffsinger, Sister; Cindy (Adam Nunn) Garwood. Brother-in-law; Al (Lilly) Vasquez. Nephews; Landon (Samantha) Noffsinger, Tanner (Danielle) Noffsinger, Matthew Vasquez and niece; Leah Vasquez. Lloyd was preceded in death by his brother Rick Noffsinger. Lloyd will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors who cared for him when he needed it most. A celebration of his life will be held in the Spring of 2021 at Marshall Lake in Superior, Colorado.
