Liselotte (Lilo) Leski

On Thursday, December 22, 2022, Liselotte (Lilo) Leski, age 87, passed peacefully after succumbing to complications resulting from an infection.

Liselotte was born in Offenbach am Main, Germany, on August 28, 1935. After meeting her husband of 60 years while Paul was serving in the US Army and stationed near Frankfurt, Germany, she immigrated to the United States, where they were married on April 2, 1960. Following their marriage, they settled in Minneapolis, MN, and in 1964, she became a US citizen. They raised one daughter, Tanja Leski. Liselotte worked as a bookkeeper and insurance adjuster, including nearly 20 years for National Farmers Union Insurance in Denver, Colorado. She enjoyed old movies on the TCM channel and was an avid reader, always with a stack of books at her bedside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leski, and is survived by her daughter, Tanja Leski, sister, Edith Dees, and nephew, Rene Dees.
