March 31, 1948 - December 18, 2013 Linda Beebe Mogue, 65, passed away at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, CO, on December 18, 2013. Her husband was by her side, and she passed peacefully in hospice care after many painful years struggling with chronic health conditions. Linda was born March 31, 1948, in Springfield, MA, and most recently resided in Arvada, CO, with her loving husband Lawrence Robert “Bob” Mogue. Linda attended public schools in West Springfield, MA, graduated from West Springfield High School in 1966, and married L. Robert Mogue on July 18, 1970, at Mittineague Congregational Church, West Springfield, MA. Linda and Bob started raising their two daughters in Westfield, MA. In 1983, the family of four moved to Overland Park, KS, where Linda earned an associate's degree from Johnson County Community College in 1984. The family were members of Country Club Christian Church, Kansas City, MO. Beginning in 1989 and until retiring in 2002, Linda had a distinguished career in medical staff organization, management and regulatory compliance in the Kansas City metropolitan area, working for St. Joseph Medical Center, Overland Park Regional Medical Center, and Menorah Medical Center and making many dear friends. Linda was proud to hold the professional designation of Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC). In 2004, Linda and Bob moved to Arvada, Colorado, where they enjoyed the people, activities and community within the Village of Five Parks and where they visited often with their grandchildren. Linda is predeceased by her parents, Robert W. Beebe, Jr., and Theresa (LaPointe) Beebe. She is survived by her husband, Bob, daughter Heather Jean Mogue, who resides in Dickerson, MD, with Kevin M. Garcia, daughter Hilary Joy Mogue Graham of Westminster, CO, son-in-law, Gregory D. Graham and three grandchildren, Lainey C. Graham, Calvin R. Graham and Ingrid A. Graham. Linda is also survived by her siblings, Kenneth R. Beebe of Bella Vista, AR; Lois J. (Beebe) Girard and her husband Dennis of Westfield, MA; and Mark R. Beebe of Maui, HI; five nieces and nephews; her aunt Irene L. Smith of Granby, MA; and many cousins. Linda will be deeply missed by her family and friends and will be remembered as a strong, determined, courageous person with a kind heart and a thoughtful spirit. She was a loyal wife, a loving mother, a fierce protector of her family, a dedicated Nana, and a good friend to many. Her spirit is now free from earthly pain and suffering. A memorial service for Linda will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Combs Memorial Chapel, Country Club Christian Church, 6101 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO, 64113.
