1962 ~ 2015 53, born in Stanford, Connecticut on January 11, 1962 to Kenneth W. Thomes and Barbara Cardamon Hurley.  Kenny moved to Colorado in 1990 where he met his wife, Lisa Malcomb and they were married March of 1999.  Kenny had two-step sons’ Kelvin and Kristopher Collinsworth of Colorado and one sister, Marsha Adams of Centennial, Colorado.  Kenny worked at Anheuser-Busch, Co. from February 29, 1996 to present, as a Diesel Technician.  With the experience he learned from his profession, he became the family and friends truck and car mechanic!  Kenny loved cooking with his father Ken in his spare time, where he became a grill master.  He won numerous barbecue contests throughout Colorado, most recent was in 2011, the “Grill your Ace Off”, where he won the Big Green Egg.  With great success, he started his own business “GRILL IT” as a Grill Specialist.  He did many catering occasions throughout Colorado, with the help of his wife Lisa.  The last two years, Kenny’s biggest enjoyment was the Budweiser Tailgate cookouts for all home Denver Bronco games. Kenny was a beloved son, husband, stepfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many. He treasured the time spent playing ball, traveling and just spending time with family and friends.  With his wit, smile and sarcasm, Kenny was truly loved and will be missed by all.  A memorial service will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. at 12735 W. 58th Ave, Arvada, CO  80002. Reception to be announced at the service. Cards may be sent to the funeral home in care of Mrs. Lisa Malcomb at 5701 Independence Street, Arvada, CO  80002.
