October 23, 1946 - October 14, 2013 67, of Louisville, Colorado suddenly passed away on October 14, 2013. Ken was born in Aurora, Illinois. He attended high school at Marmion Military Academy in Aurora, Illinois. He graduated from University of Dayton with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked for Western Electric/Lucent Technology in Oswego, Illinois and in Westminster, Colorado for 30 years. Ken was married to his life-long partner and friend, Pietrina (Patti) Wampach for 35 years. Patti was the owner of The Prime Time for Seniors Newspaper from 2002 through 2012. Ken worked behind the scenes as tech coordinator, financial advisor, emotional support, go-for and much more. Folks in Louisville knew him as the man with the big straw hat, who walked 5 miles a day. Ken, an avid Packers fan spent his Sundays during football season with many friends at the Rocky Flats Bar known as the Packer Bar. Ken was the loving son of the late Leonore and Peter Wampach and dear brother of Judy (and the late Tom) Amberg: Kathy Wampach (Mark Marinaro): Jacquie (Tom) Swanson and Ron (Sandy) Wampach. Ken Wampach will be greatly missed by ever so many people. Services for Ken Wampach are Monday, October 21 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 902 Grant Avenue in Louisville. Visitation 9:00 a.m. and mass at 10:00 a.m.
