Kathy Sue Croghan

Kathy Sue Croghan, age 63 of Golden, Colorado, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 after fighting a difficult battle against Cancer. She was born to the late Betty and Vernon Krems on November 7, 1958. Kathy was born and raised in Colorado and always consider herself a die hard native. Family and friends were Kathy’s passion, but most of all she was incredibly proud of her two daughters. She was an artist. She loved the mountains and animals, summers camping at lake McConaughy, dune buggies and muscle cars. Most of all, music was in her soul, from the time she was a little girl doing the twist until the very day she gained her wings. It would be wrong to say that Kathy lost her battle because she never stopped fighting, she was always determined. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. Kathy is survived by her two daughters Jamie Tolbert and Alexis Croghan; who were by her side until the very end. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her throughout her life and especially during her last days.
