Kathryn Agnes Lamborne, long time resident of South Jersey, died peacefully in Colorado, on September 4, 2018, two months short of her 95 th birthday. She is survived by her son Bruce (Raune), grandsons Andy (Jen) and Pete (Courtney), and their children, all of Colorado. Kate was preceded in death a dozen years ago by Stan, her husband of more than six decades. The eldest of four sisters, she was also predeceased by each of them. After her discharge from the United States Coast Guard following World War II, she and Stan settled in Mullica Hill. She was active in her church, and volunteered whenever needed, including a stint as den mother with scouts. She worked for several years at the Gloucester County courthouse, but her real love was antiques. With the formation of Kate and Stan Lamborne Antiques she found her niche, and in time became well known and highly regarded throughout the region. In later years she relocated to Colorado to be closer to loved ones. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
