June Ellen Riveland

March 5, 1955 - October 11, 2011 Judith Lynn Riddle was born to Ruth Margaret (Ellis) and Benjamin P. Riddle on March 5, 1951 at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After her mother died in 1955 Judy and her twin brothers were placed in the Children's Home at Sioux Falls. They were adopted in the spring of 1958 by Irving and Clara Riveland of New Effington, South Dakota and her named was changed to June Ellen. She attended rural school and New Effington elementary, Morris, and Foley Minnesota eventually graduating in 1969 from St Cloud tech. June move to Minneapolis following graduation and became a home health care worker. She completed her LPN degree and worked at various nursing homes in Minneapolis Minnesota and Denver Colorado. She has live in Minneapolis Minnesota, Denver Colorado and Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2008, she moved back to Denver. June had been able to work for a number of years because of her declining health. She died October 11, 2011 at the Collier Hospice Center in Denver, Colorado She is survived by her twin brothers: Lynn (Debbie) Riveland, Breckenridge, Minnesota and Lyle Riveland Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her nephews: Michael (Shari) Riveland Breckenridge Minnesota and Justin (Emily) Riveland of Fargo North Dakota. Her nieces: Jerusa Riveland of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Janelle Riveland of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Her half brothers and sisters: Owen (Joy) Goetschius , Springfield Missouri, Terrence (Ted) Goetschius, Milbank, South Dakota, Beverly Erickson ,Barbara Gandy and Sharon DeBeltz Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Clare Shellenberger, Marshall town , Iowa. She was preceded in death by her biological parents, Ruth and Ben Riddle, her adoptive parents Irving and Clara Riveland. Her bothers Jerry, Gene Alan and Robert Goetschius and her nephew Joey Riveland. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
