81, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2016 at his home in Denver, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sonia, brother Manual and parents, Richard and Semonita. He is survived by his 5 children, Dean Romero, Lisa Romero, Roxane Romero (Bobby), Eric Romero (Patty) and Danny Aragon, 9 Grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, siblings, Cundo Romero, Jean Thompson, Clara Bird, Tony Romero, Susie Chavez and numerous nieces, nephews, God-children and friends. Julio was a retired truck driver (Transcon and ABF) and a Teamsters member.  He was an avid collector of cars and restored his 51 Chevy Truck and 53 Chevy.  Both making appearances in Low Rider magazine and winners of several car shows.  Julio was a sports enthusiast and incredible athlete, still visiting the gym several times a week. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in athletic events.  Julio was blessed with many talents, he could build you a home, change the oil in your car or cook you the best red chili around.  He loved listening to music and dancing along.  He had all the smooth moves! He was a loyal friend and would do anything to help someone in need.  Julio’s outgoing, energetic and loving ways will live forever in the hearts of those of us lucky enough to have known him. He will be dearly missed. Colossians 2:5 For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.
