Juanita Mendez passed away July 1, 2018 at her home in Denver, CO. She was born July 7, 1933 in Questa, NM to her parents Maria and Esmel Vigil. Juanita is survived by her loving husband Cruz Mendez; 7 children Maxine Vargas, Jeanie (Jose) Ontireros, Yolanda (Mike) Martinez, Margie (Ramon) Reyes, Max (Bernadette) Tafoya, Dolores Lopez and Percy Olguin; 23 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren, 34 great great grandchildren and sister Flora Montoya. Many more family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral Service: Viewing 9:00 AM, Service 10:00 AM Friday, July 6, 2018 at St Paul's Community Church 8001 W. 23rd. Ave. Lakewood, CO.
