July 14, 1920 - February 2, 2014 Joyce Irene (Fluke) Stoneback, 93, Arvada, CO., formerly of Mesa, AZ and Aberdeen, SD., passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014, in her home at Springwood Estates, Arvada, CO. A memorial service will be held at the Springwood Chapel. 6550 Yankway, Arvada, CO. 80004, Friday February, 7th, 4:00 pm with a reception to follow at the Springwood Center. There will be a graveside memorial at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Aberdeen, SD, at a later date. Joyce I. Fluke was born, July 14th 1920 in Aberdeen, SD to Harry and Cora Fluke of Bath SD. She married Lynus E. Stoneback December 27, 1939 and enjoyed supporting her husband of 47 years until his death in 1987. From South Dakota to Arizona, to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, she enjoyed playing bridge, entertaining, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She and Lynus spent many winters in Arizona where she enjoyed the acquaintances, neighbors, and friends throughout the years. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Lynus and their two sons, Clark and Stuart Stoneback. Grateful to have shared in her life is her brother, Wayne Fluke, her five grandchildren: Bret and Lisa Stoneback, Bart and Jennifer Stoneback, grand-daughter, Jill (Stoneback) Jones along with her husband Greg Jones, Matthew Stoneback, Chris Stoneback, daughter-in-law, Barbara Stoneback and numerous great-grand children, nephews, nieces and friends.
