Joyce Arlene Palmateer

Joyce Arlene Palmateer, age 84, beloved family matriarch, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 10, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born in 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Dorothy (Quilla) and William Reed. Joyce was employed in retail for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Palmateer. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Robert Reed, sisters Beverly Burton and Charlene Marlow, daughters Louann Burrow, Teresa McCubbin (Larry), Dorothy Symmes, Sharon Kimball (Seth), Linda Symmes (Eldon LaDouceur), Virginia Nigg (Jim); son Gene Symmes (Alice), 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 10AM, at Shrine of St. Anne Church, 7555 Grant Pl, Arvada, CO 80002 Reception to follow.
