September 1, 1934 - June 12, 2013 Josephine A. Velotta of Wheat Ridge passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Hospice of St. John, she was 78 years old. She was born September 1, 1934 in Denver to the late Joseph Nellie (Rizzuto) Frazzini. Her husband of 52 years, Joseph, and her two children survive her, Joell Leon Ellison, and Joseph Tracie Velotta, Jr.; two grandchildren, Shawn Jasmine; two sisters, Virginia Antoinette; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive her. Services will be held on Tuesday June 18, 2013 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 3549 Navajo St. Denver. Rosary service will begin at 10:00 am with Mass following at 10:30. Entombment will follow at Olinger Highland Memorial Park (104th I-25). The family will receive friends Monday evening from 4:30 until 6:00 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home of Arvada.
