Josephine Angela Malesich

A long-time resident of Leadville, Colorado, passed away on June 24, 2020, at Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 96. She was the last living member of her family of 12 siblings, Josephine was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Zakraisek, her siblings, and her husband Rudy Malesich. She is survived by her three children George Malesich, Rudy Malesich (Linda), Betty Armstrong (Ray), as well as 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Josephine lived a long, productive life and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. Her funeral mass was held on June 30, 2020, at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver, Colorado. After the mass, she was placed to rest in Leadville at St. Joseph Cemetery next to her husband Rudy.
