April 15, 1942 - January 1, 2015 Weaver, Joe M., 72 of Arvada, Colorado, passed away from complications of pneumonia at Exempla Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado on January 1, 2015 at 7:30p.m.. Joe was born April 15, 1942 in Boulder, Colorado to Joe C. and Carolyn Weaver. Joe graduated from Boulder High School in 1960. He attended Fort Lewis College in Durango where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Joe met his wife Sandi (Nethery) at Fort Lewis College and they were married November 10, 1966. They have two children, Scott Weaver of Wray Colorado and Tanya Moser of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Scott is married to Karen (Jackson) and they have 3 boys Jacob (16), Cody (14) and Levi (11). Tanya is married to Ryan Moser and they have 1 daughter Brianna (21). Joe spent 4 years in the US Navy during the Vietnam era stationed on the USS Iwo Jima. Joe worked for several companies in Colorado and Nevada including Flatiron Companies in Boulder, Varra's, Siegriest, H.W. Moore, Reuter Equipment Co, in Las Vegas, Goodfellas, Kimball Equipment Co, Telesmith, Recycled Materials. Surviving Joe is his wife Sandi, his two children, 4 grandchildren, his sister Phyllis Jean Pfarr and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother. Cremation is being handled by Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home in Arvada. Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, January 8th at 2:00p.m. at the Crossroads Chapel located at 9725 W 50th in Wheat Ridge. A potluck fellowship to follow, location to be announced. Burial to be at Fort Logan National Cemetery on January 9th for family members.
