July 24, 1944 - February 4, 2012 John M. Gschwend 67, passed away February 4th, 2012. John is survived by his loving wife of 14 years Kathy; children Jonathan, Jennifer, Melissa, Mikel and Kenny; Brothers and sisters Mary-Ann, Louis, Thomas and Pia. John will be missed by all of his family and friends. John completed high school in 1960 and by 1963 he had completed his apprenticeship as Chef in Switzerland. He then worked as a Chef for 2 years in Switzerland. John then entered the US Army from 1969 to 1971. While in the Army John was a Police Officer and Sentry Dog Handler. Things John enjoyed: his church, square dancing, music, family and friends. Services for John will be held February 10th, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery with Honors provided by the United States Army. All are invited to a luncheon from 10:30 AM til 1:00 PM on February 10th at Golden Corrall located at 3677 South Sante Fe Drive, Sheridan, Colorado.
