John Charles Evans, 73, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, son of Charles Orrin Evans and Elsie Little, passed away unexpectedly on January 6th 2021. He passed away peacefully in his home. John graduated from CU Boulder. After working for the Colorado State patrol as an officer from 1970 to 1977 he pursued his Realtor license working for Van Schaack and Remax. Retiring from real estate he began restoring classic cars and worked as a local mechanic in Wheat Ridge, Colorado in his meticulous shop and home. He was a kind and loving man known to many as the Gentle Giant, always putting the needs of others first. He was loved by many friends, family and neighbors, as he was known to go out of his way to help others. John’s favorite saying was “Do what you say you are going to do, when you say you are going to do it, and if you can’t tell me why.” John is survived by his two sons Eric and Craig Evans, his Brother Reed Evans, his three sisters Chloe Patton, Bonnie Long, Celia McLelland, as well as his two grandchildren Kameron and Konner Evans. John’s wish was to not have a memorial or ceremony, his family will be privately spreading his ashes.
