Jodie Lea Cross, lover of rainbows and miniatures, passed away unexpectedly on October 4th, 2020 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at the young age of 53. Jodie was born in North Dakota on August 8th, 1967. She spent her childhood relishing in the fantastical journeys of a playful spirit with her siblings and parents. She met the love of her life, Darin Cross at the young age of 15. They would later marry and have 4 children together, Kaisha, Kimberly, Griffin and Jordan. Jodie spent her life loving her children, her husband and her family. She was kind, caring, generous and gentle. She had the spirit of a warrior and persevered through great challenges to overcome the many obstacles she faced throughout her life. Jodie loved with her whole heart and wore her emotions on her sleeve. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, driving in the mountains, watching Broncos games and shopping for gifts for loved ones. Jodie loved to laugh, dance and make others smile. Jodie will be greatly missed by those she touched in life. She is survived by her husband, her 4 children, her mother and two of her siblings. A service is being held on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at 3 pm. All who knew Jodie are welcome to attend at Arise Church (formerly Stapleton Church) 8700 E. 21st Ave., Denver, CO, 80238, to grieve, reminisce and support one another.
