February 18, 1983 - November 16, 2014 Joanna Rose Ohannessian, 31, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 16, 2014.. She was born in Denver on Feb. 18, 1983. Joanna is survived by her 1 year old son, Miles, her parents; Moe Ohannessian and Roberta Conway, sisters; Charlotte and Nancy and brothers; Greg, Justin, Bruce, Mark, and Walter as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. She was preceded by her brother, Myron. Joanna attended local schools and graduated from Westminster High School in 2001. She later moved to Concord, New Hampshire to attend N.H. Vocational Technical College, where she earned her Associates Degree in Science. In 2012 she achieved her longtime dream of living in Boston but returned to Colorado in 2013 following the birth of her son. Joanna's life made up in depth what it lacked in length. She loved to make people laugh and she was kind hearted and generous with those who knew her well. Although New England wasn't her birthplace, she felt a special bond to the people she met there and their particular view of the world. She adopted their sense of humor as her own and could be "wicked funny". She also adopted their terrible driving habits and could be frightening to ride with. She loved the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, rap music, her cat Yoda, and watching Miles dance. She will be missed by all the people who knew her and loved her and wanted to grow old with her in their life. Arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the fund it has established for the care of Joanna's son.
