May 1, 1939 - Apr 28, 2015 Joan was born in Brush, Co and moved to Denver when she was two. She passed away peacefully in her sleep to be with God after a long illness at the Lutheran /Collier Hospice Center. She was 75 and would have been 76 on Friday, May 1st. Joan is survived her by son Thomas E. ( wife Jill) daughter Wendy L. Powell, grandchildren Jessica Ellison, Jennifer Fields, Scott Powell, Rebecca Powell. Great grandchildren Collin Ellison, Cody Ellison, Savannah Ellison, and Ashley Fields. Preceded in death by husband Thomas A, daughter Kathryn Ann, brother Larry, sister Delana (May), and parents Julia and Earl Thompson.
