Jeff left his earthly home in Colorado when called to his heavenly home by his Lord and Savior. He was enjoying his time spent camping and hiking until Covid sent him to the hospital where he took his last breath with his wife and children by his side. As a man of great faith, he was passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the world through his missionary work in India, individual and family counseling sessions, pastoring several churches, church consulting work, and in his everyday life. He was a mentor to many who appreciated his bluntness and gift of irritation, a friend to those of all ages who enjoyed his wisdom and humor, a loving husband to his steadfast wife (Sandy), a devoted father to his son (Greg) and daughter (Michelle), and a doting grandfather to his grandson (Blake), granddaughter (Madison), and grandpuppies (Lexi, Loki, and Porter). Jeff was an avid outdoorsmen, skilled hunter and fisher, green-thumbed gardener (except when it came to corn), self-taught guitar player, music lover, cook (chef Jeff), motorcycle enthusiast, small business owner, samurai plumber, and handyman supreme. He was as hardworking and reliable as they come. In light of the current wave of Covid, the numerous inquiries from many states and countries about a memorial service, and the family’s desire for everyone to be safe, it has been decided to use this interactive portal for remembrances to celebrate his life at this time. It would be his desire for those who would like to make a contribution in his memory to do so by supporting those spreading the gospel to the unreached people groups in India. Donations can be sent to his paypal account (@jhpccc) and the family will cover the necessary expenses of wiring and ensuring the safe transfer of all the funds to the appropriate accounts in India. This will be done in lump sum on October 1st. Jeff would want to remind everyone that no one gets out of this crazy world alive. He would want you to re-evaluate what is really important in this life and to assure you that God loves you, has a plan for your life, and can offer you eternal life. As a “fisher of men” it would be Jeff’s joy for all of us to be “caught” up together and reunited in heaven. While Jeff is no longer with us, remember the lessons he has taught us all, embrace the memories you have of him, and share those lessons and memories with others as he has done with you.
