November 14, 1963 - August 9, 2012 Dr. Janella Lyn Olinger Janella Lyn Olinger was born November 14, 1963 in Spokane, Washington. She passed away August 9, 2012 in Golden, Colorado. She is survived by her Bernese Mountain Dog, Saas Fee, 3 siblings: Janiene and her husband, Kevin Rise, Jaci Olinger, and James Olinger II, her four nieces and 1 nephew, Jenniephier Rise, Chandra Lodl, Mikaela Lodl, Natalie Olinger, and Jaried Rise. She is also survived by other extended family members and many friends. Janella holds the record as the youngest student to attend the University of California at San Francisco School of Pharmacy, entering when she was seventeen and graduating four years later. Her career spanned nearly 30 years beginning in California, then Saudi Arabia and finally in Colorado. Janella's international and domestic travels are extensive and she has friends living all-around the world. The family is hosting services in Evergreen, Colorado and Spokane, Washington. The Colorado service will be from noon to 3 p.m. on August 19th, 2012 at the Evergreen Lake House (29612 Upper Bear Creek Rd, Evergreen, CO 80439). Lunch will be served, summer casual attire. A second memorial service will be held for friends and family in Spokane, Washington on September 1, 2012 at Foothills Community Church, 11102 North Forker Road, Spokane, WA 99201 beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Inland Northwest Community Foundation (INWCF), 618 West Riverside Ave., Ste. 302, Spokane, WA 99201 - please direct donations to the "Janella Olinger Memorial Scholarship Fund" in the memo section of your check contribution.
