James Winslow Graves Jr.

James Winslow Graves, Jr., life began May 22, 1963 in Denver, CO, life ended December 22, 2016. He married the love of his life, high school sweetheart, Kathryn Patricia Applegate on April 3, 1982 in Arvada, CO. He is survived by; wife, Kathryn Graves; Sons, Ryan (wife Lauren), Adam, Daniel & Marcus Graves; Grand-daughters, Madison & Victoria Graves; Father, James Graves, Sr.; Mother, Rita Graves; Siblings, Pam, Patty, Jill & Josh. He was proceeded in death by his sister, Paula. He also had numerous brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He attended Arvada West High School, graduating in 1981. He and his wife, Kathy, started their business, Custom Woods Construction in 1989. He loved to fish, watch his sons play ball (he coached all four of his sons in numerous sports), and spend time with his family. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, coach & friend. His family was one of the founding families of Arvada and he was well known and liked in the community. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00am in the Worship Center at Faith Bible Chapel, 6250 Wright Street, Arvada, CO 80004 (on the West side of Ward Road).
