James S Brezall

James S. Brezall , Aged 91 , passed peacefully into the light of The Heavenly Father, the morning of September 23rd, 2017. Born May 22nd ,1926 in Sicily, James travelled with his family over to America to begin his journey in life. He immediately joined the Army during WWII and was sent to tour in Germany, Africa, Italy and Russia. He was a part of the 39th infantry where he served and fought under the grueling conditions war had to offer. He earned a victory medal for his valiantry, a European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with a bronze battle star, Army of Occupation-Germany Medal, 2 overseas service bars and a medal of good conduct. James was honorably discharged and came back to serve his country once more. James was a member of the original Trinidad Colorado Police Department where he was a Sergeant until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Lillian, his daughters, Sally, Jamye, and Gina, his sons, James,Pete, Julian as well as his many grandsons/daughters. He was an honorable soul who devoted his life to bettering his community through his work with the PTA Board , patrolling the neighborhoods of Trinidad , as well as truly making sure everyone was safe. He was a stout man with an immense passion for boxing and anything sweet. The memoirs of James cannot be met within a note of his passing but only in the stories of his loved ones that carry him on.
