James "Jim" Patrick Nelligan

James “Jim” Patrick Nelligan, 74, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado , passed away, peacefully, after his battle with cancer, on April 23, 2020. He was born to Harry and Ellen Nelligan, on December 10, 1945 in Rochester, New York. James, his parents, and brother, Michael, moved to Denver, Colorado in 1952. He graduated from Aurora Central High School in 1963. He studied Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1968. James is survived by his four children Shelli Dee Nelligan-Anderson, James Nathan Nelligan, Matthew Aaron Nelligan, Lillie Kathleen Nelligan, as well as his five grandchildren. When we are able to congregate once again, a memorial service will be held to celebrate James’ life.
