James Edward Mcvey

James “JimBo” McVey died peacefully in Arvada, Colorado on February 25, 2018 at the age of 65. Jim is survived by his two sons, James and Eric McVey of Fort Worth, Texas, as well as his two sisters Joyce Havens of Castle Rock and Susan Welch of Arvada, Colorado. Jim is preceded in death by his father James K. McVey, his mother Maud McVey and brother Robert McVey. Jim was born on June 14, 1952 in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Kearns High School in Kearns, Utah in 1971. After high school he joined the armed forces, serving 8 years in the United States Army. Jim loved his Colorado sports teams. He was especially a huge fan of the Denver Broncos. He enjoyed playing cards, but traveling to the mountains to fish was what he loved the most.
